By accessing rothackers.com or downloading, cloning, installing, or using any software published by Rot Hackers (including but not limited to WSHawk, Keikaku, ProtoCrash, PoCSmith, SQL Tamper Framework, and GraphQL Scanner), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease all use of this website and all associated software. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, contributors, and anyone else who accesses or uses our services.

• "Rot Hackers" — the security research initiative operated by Regaan, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
• "Tools" — any open-source software, scripts, frameworks, or libraries published under the GitHub organization @noobforanonymous.
• "User" — any individual or entity accessing the website or using any Tool.
• "Authorized Environment" — systems, networks, or applications that you own outright, or systems you have received explicit written authorization from the owner to test.
• "Contribution" — any code, documentation, payload, or other material submitted to any Rot Hackers repository.

All Rot Hackers tools are released as open-source software. Each repository carries its own license file (typically MIT License) which governs your rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software.

The open-source license grants you broad technical rights. However, these Terms impose additional ethical and legal obligations on top of the license terms. The license does not grant you permission to use the software for any unlawful purpose.

Where any conflict exists between the open-source license of a specific Tool and these Terms, these Terms shall prevail regarding lawful use obligations.

You are permitted to use Rot Hackers tools for the following purposes:

• Security research on systems you own or administer.
• Authorized penetration testing engagements with written scope agreements.
• Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions and sanctioned lab environments.
• Corporate red team operations with explicit written authorization from organizational leadership.
• Academic research, vulnerability disclosure programs, and bug bounty platforms with defined scope.
• Tool development, integration testing, and CI/CD security pipeline construction.
• Educational demonstrations in controlled, isolated, non-production environments.

You are strictly prohibited from using any Rot Hackers Tool to:

• Access, probe, scan, or attack any computer system, network, or application without explicit written authorization from the owner.
• Intercept, capture, modify, or replay communications you are not authorized to access.
• Exploit vulnerabilities in production systems for unauthorized access or data exfiltration.
• Bypass authentication mechanisms, WAFs, or access controls on unauthorized targets.
• Generate or deploy malware, ransomware, or any form of malicious payload against non-consenting targets.
• Facilitate, assist, or participate in any form of cybercrime.
• Violate any local, national, or international law, statute, or regulation.
• Conduct any activity that constitutes unauthorized computer access under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (USA), or any equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction.

Rot Hackers tools are built for the security research community. As a condition of use, you agree to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct in all security activities:

• Always obtain proper written authorization before testing any system.
• Responsibly disclose any vulnerabilities you discover, following coordinated disclosure practices.
• Report bugs and security issues in Rot Hackers tools via the relevant GitHub issue tracker.
• Do not publicly disclose active exploitation of unpatched vulnerabilities without giving affected parties reasonable remediation time.
• Treat all discovered data with confidentiality — do not access, copy, or retain private user data encountered during authorized assessments beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the vulnerability.

By submitting a pull request, issue, payload, or any other Contribution to any Rot Hackers repository, you agree that:

• Your Contribution is your original work and you hold the rights to submit it.
• You grant Rot Hackers and its users a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your Contribution under the repository's applicable open-source license.
• Your Contribution does not contain malicious code, backdoors, or any material that violates any law.
• You have not included any third-party material that you do not have the right to license.

The Rot Hackers name, logo, branding, website design, and all content not covered by an open-source license are the intellectual property of Regaan / Rot Hackers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our branding without explicit written permission.

Open-source repositories are governed by their respective licenses, which define the scope of your usage rights. Attribution to Rot Hackers is appreciated in any derivative works or publications that build upon our tools.

All Rot Hackers tools and website content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. This includes, without limitation:

• No warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• No warranty that tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.
• No warranty that scan results, payload outputs, or analysis findings are accurate, complete, or current.
• No warranty that tools will detect all vulnerabilities in any given target.

Security tooling by its nature operates in adversarial environments. You assume all risk associated with your use of these tools.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rot Hackers and its founder Regaan shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use or inability to use any Tool or this website — including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — even if Rot Hackers has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with any Tool is to stop using it.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rot Hackers, its founder, contributors, and affiliates from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of any Tool, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, specifically the laws of the State of Tamil Nadu, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. If you are accessing these tools from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

Rot Hackers reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of any Tool or this website after any change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you disagree with any revision, you must cease use immediately.
