About Rot Hackers
Rot Hackers is an independent, non-profit security research initiative focused exclusively on developing extremely high-performance, battle-tested, open-source offensive security tools. We believe that open research accelerates defensive capabilities, and by weaponizing attack techniques into production-grade artifacts, we empower engineers and security teams worldwide.
We do not build theoretical prototypes. Every single tool released by Rot Hackers—from WSHawk to ProtoCrash to the Keikaku programming language—has been utilized in high-stakes, real-world bug bounty engagements or penetration tests before facing the public. They are designed for speed, reliability, and precision.
Offensive Genesis
We reverse-engineer proprietary security products and implement advanced zero-day evasion techniques to ensure our research tools stay ahead of modern network defenses and WAFs.
AI & Automation
From utilizing fine-tuned LLMs like CodeLlama (via PoCSmith) to writing custom lexing state machines in our SQL Tamper Framework, we merge artificial intelligence directly into the exploitation chain.
